HSPG Charity Foundation
The HSPG Charity Foundation is a passion project, driven by our vision for HSPG and executed by our internal Social Impact Team. We wanted to broaden our philanthropic efforts into the areas we see every day, including the impact of homelessness. We do this by supporting charities with their internal structure and growth, and sustainability.
We not only raise funds for our partner charities, over £10,000 last year, but also provide practical and professional support. From litter picks to working in local food banks, right through to marathons and helping to build websites.
In March, the HSPG team invited partner businesses to take part in a charity bake off to raise some much needed funds for GROW, a charity working with schools and communities delivering bespoke programmes in sustainable food growing and outdoor learning.
Taking place at The Big London Bake, Tooting, a day filled with cakes, a charity raffle and a celebrity guest judge – EastEnders and Gavin & Stacey actor, Larry Lamb. The bake off event raised over £4,000 to support GROW in their efforts. If you’d like to help to support GROW, you can donate here.
We recently posted a blog all about the charity bake off, read about the event here.
Last month, in April, the HSPG team competed in a step challenge to aid Disasters Emergency Committee raise money in support for Ukraine.
