This news follows reports last month that the number of affordable homes completed in the pandemic dropped to just 24,245, a shortfall on the target of 12%. The acquisition is part of HSPG’s drive to deliver 1,000 desperately needed affordable homes and to invest c£300 million into Affordable Housing over the course of 2021/22.

The homes at Laureate Fields have been designed with spacious and contemporary living in mind. They are also located just a stone’s throw from local amenities as well as an Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

This is the latest Affordable Housing acquisition to be offered by HSPG to buyers through shared ownership schemes. HSPG’s provision of this Affordable Housing also responds to significant demand in the area as the East of England has experienced a shortage of properties for sale, with 24% fewer homes available than in 2019.

We invest in housing to facilitate shared ownership as well as low-cost rental homes. Our specialist team partners with housebuilderslocal authorities and registered providers to deliver these desperately needed high-quality affordable homes.
